Qualifications and expertise required for Business Development Manager

ü Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Business Development Manager in the IT sector. Preference would be given to candidates who have worked in the areas of web development and programming as Business Development Officer.
ü Should be a good team player and should lead by example.

ü Strong social etiquettes and knowledge about the western culture.

Details of the Business Development Officer position

ü The candidate would be responsible for the initial interaction with prospective customers who want to develop a website, Portal or SAAS (Software As A Service).
ü The candidate would be required to prepare a introduction material (Presentations and Documentation) which will be shared with the prospective customer.
ü The candidate would be required to follow up with the prospective customers and help in developing and drawing out project specifications.
ü If any clarifications are needed the Business Development Manager would be responsible to clear those with the prospective customer.
ü The Business Development Manager would be required to work with senior programmers to draw up a project plan, timeline plan and the budget for the project. The project plan would be shared, after due approval from the management, with the customer.
ü The business manager would remain in contact with the customer and negotiate the deal which should lead to signing of the agreement between the prospective customer and CS Soft Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
ü The candidate would be responsible for setting up goals for himself and the various teams .
ü The Business Development Officer would take feedback from the customer after the project has been built. He or she would maintain a on-going relationship with old customers to ensure that there is possibility of working with the customer in the future.

Hiring Sentiment Is Quite Positive, Says A Survey

As per the latest Employment Outlook Report for the period July - September 2010 released by TeamLease Services, the hiring sentiment is at an 18-month high for the present quarter beginning July and ending September 2010. Bangalore, whose job market is characterised by high attrition and also an optimistic hiring sentiment, has seen its employment outlook rise significantly to become double that of the other cities. Tier-II cities experienced a significant increase (3 per cent) in hiring intent to 19 per cent — an all time high, indicative of the talent supply potential of the areas. Hiring at the junior and entry levels of organisational hierarchy is set to make a strong comeback with 17 per cent and 11 per cent increases in hiring intent — the biggest rise after more than 24 months of stagnant or negative growth in index value.
